NAKILAT AND Q-SHIP TAKE DELIVERY OF FOURTH LPG VESSEL – “LUBARA”
March 19th, 2009 Doha, Qatar Doha, Qatar, March 19th, 2009 – On March 19th, 2009 Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd. (Nakilat) and Qatar Shipping Company Q.S.C. (Q-Ship) took delivery of the m.v. “Lubara”, the final ship in a series of four Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGC’s). The delivery ceremony was held at the Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea. 
The four vessels are owned through a 50:50 joint venture between Nakilat and Q-Ship named “Gulf LPG Transport Company W.L.L” specifically formed to own and operate four Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) carriers. The first three LPG carriers “Bu Sidra”, “Umm Laqhab” and “Al Wukir” have already been delivered. Under the terms of a vessel management agreement, Nakilat, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Nakilat Shipping (Qatar) Limited, will operate the 82,000mł capacity carriers.
